Icontrol and Jasper Partner to Enable Dealers to Meet Growing Customer Demand for Home Automation
Partnership Supporting Icontrol One Reflects Program's Commitment to Quality and Ease of Management
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Icontrol Networks, the company behind the most widely distributed interactive security and home automation platform in the industry, announced a partnership with Jasper, a global IoT platform leader, to enable Icontrol dealers to launch, manage and monetize new home automation services via Icontrol One.
The partnership with Jasper enables Icontrol One dealers to automate critical services like system monitoring and maintenance, utilizing real-time diagnostics. This will reduce mean time to repair and help Icontrol One dealers anticipate and rapidly respond to malfunctions, threats and service issues. In the U.S., Icontrol systems on the Jasper platform will be deployed via the AT&T mobile network.
"When building our Icontrol One solution, we looked for top quality partners that would help us meet the specific needs of dealers," said Bob Hagerty, CEO of Icontrol Networks. "Jasper's cloud-based platform not only simplifies automation and management of new and existing Icontrol systems via the mobile network, but it makes it easy for our dealers to unlock new revenue streams and increase ROI."
Jasper is partnered with 24 mobile operator groups which represent more than 100 mobile operator networks worldwide, enabling Icontrol One dealers to configure services on the Jasper platform once, then scale globally as needed based on market demand.
"Over the last ten years, the Jasper platform has helped more than 2,000 enterprises bring IoT services to market that deliver increased value and revenue," said Macario Namie, VP of Strategy at Jasper. "Our collaboration with Icontrol makes it possible for Icontrol One dealers to offer new capabilities and functionality, automate and manage critical home security and automation systems, deliver new and valuable services to their customers, and increase their ROI."
Icontrol One enables dealers to offer the benefits of Jasper's platform to the more than four million customers in need of an upgrade from 2G to 3G.
