Iconic Empire State Building to Host Exclusive Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Viewing

NEW YORK, June 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, July 4, 2013 the Empire State Building will host its annual Independence Day Celebration at the world-famous 86^th Floor Observatory from 8:30 – 10:00 p.m. Guests from around the world will have breathtaking views of the fireworks over the Hudson River as part of this exclusive experience.

Ticket holders will be provided with private access to the 80^th Floor and 86^th Floor Observatory, which will be closed to the general public at approximately 6:30 p.m. and reopen at 10:00 p.m. following the fireworks show. A DJ will provide the soundtrack to the evening and refreshments will be available throughout the event.

Limited tickets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, for $149 each and can be purchased by visiting www.esbnyc.com.

The Empire State Building's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/EmpireStateBuilding) will also give its fans a chance to win one (1) pair of tickets to this exclusive event. Followers of the ESB Facebook page will be asked to describe why they should win the opportunity to view the Independence Day fireworks from this one-of-a-kind vantage point. The winner will be announced on June 7, via ESB's social media channels.
