iConcept Achieves ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Certification to Strengthen Information Security

iConcept Software Services, a Hyderabad-based IT solution provider, has achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification strengthening the information security. iConcept has been awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certificate following an assessment performed by TÜV SÜD, a global inspection and certification body that expertizes in consulting and certifying for information & data security, for the scope of, 'Information Security Management systems for Software Development Services, Deployment, Maintenance and Support.' iConcept is the first company to get ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certification with NABCB accreditation in India.

The purpose of an Information security management system is to secure an organization's information assets by identifying, assessing and managing risk factors which are presented by threats and vulnerabilities. This is achieved by identifying all assets of the organization, labelling them and further computing CIAL (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability, and Likelihood) values and performing the risk assessment.
