ICO for TMTG, Korea's new cryptocurrency, held in 2018
SEOUL, South Korea, July 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- On July 10, Digital Gold Exchange (DGE), a Korean company dedicated to developing cryptocurrencies, announced that it has launched the ICO for The Midas Touch Gold (TMTG), a self-developed cryptocurrency.
DGE, headquartered in Hong Kong, has developed "Crypto Game" and "Digital Gold Exchange", a platform that connects TMTG and gold.
TMTG is the cryptocurrency based on blockchain and Ethereum (ETH). Beyond the desire to generate value through the creation of a digital currency, TMTG was developed to take the environment in which it would be used into account.
An official at the company explained, "TMTG stands for The Midas Touch Gold, and the name itself was inspired by the Greek myth of King Midas, who turned everything he touched into gold."
TMTG is a cryptocurrency that can be traded for gold exclusively through the DGE's "Digital Gold Exchange" platform. Traders can purchase digital gold "MDG," with TMTG on the platform and exchange them. Moreover, users can exchange real gold bars if MDG reaches a pre-set amount (minimum 10 grams). To make this possible, DGE has already signed a contract with the Korea Gold Exchange, the largest gold exchange in Korea, and is currently preparing to sign a contract with foreign gold exchanges.
More information on the ICO for TMTG is available on the official DGE website (https://ico.dgex.io).
