NEW YORK, June 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- IBT Media, a global news organization, today announced that Rich Pasqua has joined as Chief Experience Officer (CXO). Pasqua will be responsible for global product development and strategy, directing and leading the prioritization, development and maintenance of all products across IBT Media. He will be based out of IBT Media's New York City headquarters and will report directly to CEO and Co-Founder, Etienne Uzac.
"This is an important moment for IBT Media as we begin to expand our executive team. We're first turning our attention to the design of our products and user experience and are thrilled to have Rich take the lead on this initiative," said Uzac.
In the new position of CXO, Pasqua will work across the company's digital assets to ensure functionality, speed, look, feel and design. He will interface with many departments, working with the technology team to develop and schedule a pipeline of products, the editorial team to customize features in the content management system and the marketing and sales teams on new advertising products. Pasqua will lead design, art, web and user experience teams.
"Rich brings a deep understanding of design and product implementation and will serve as an advocate for the user. He'll ensure that our audience has the optimum experience whether they are reading our content on the web or via their mobile device," added Uzac. "He'll be the nexus between IT, design and product stakeholders, constantly working to ensure that each brand is well-represented in every manifestation and user touch point."
Before joining IBT Media, Pasqua was VP of Creative and User Experience at NorthPoint Digital, Creative Director at Seigel + Gale, and Creative Director at Nickelodeon Online. He has also held positions at Red Sky, xceed and founded his own company, Token, in 2012.
