NEW YORK and BEIJING, Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Boxing Federation China ("IBF China" or "the Organization"), a non-profit organization governing the efficiency and uniformity in the supervision of professional boxing in China today announced that its assigned promotions agency reached a strategic alliance with Rovio Entertainment Ltd., a Finish company which possesses the widely acclaimed entertainment brand ANGRY BIRDS, and two well-known national food companies China Oil & Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO) and Mooplus Food, that will further improve the development of boxing as an international sport in China.
IBF China, ROVIO, Mooplus and COFCO have expanded its cooperation in terms of using the brand of ANGRY BIRDS. Mooplus will release a series of products using the image of ANGRY BIRDS and the products will be promoted at the IBF China Professional Boxing Tournaments.
Through the cooperation, IBF China will lead a cross-border, multi-cultural integrated marketing program to include digital games, food and beverage and sports that will encourage a generation of athletes and fans to consider boxing as a viable competitive and international sports platform.
