Iberdrola USA Companies Among Highest Ranked for Customer Satisfaction
Central Maine Power tops all large utilities in the east for fourth consecutive year in J.D. Power and Associates 2011 Consumer Study
ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Iberdrola USA announced that its electric utilities in Maine and New York all received high rankings for customer satisfaction in the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 Residential Customer Satisfaction Study(SM). Central Maine Power Company (CMP) was ranked first in residential customer satisfaction and New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) was ranked third among large electric utilities in the east. Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) ranked fourth in the study of mid-sized companies in the east.

Power and Associates 2011 Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study(SM) noted that improvements in utility operations and customer communications were important to overall customer satisfaction levels. The 2011 Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study(SM) is based on responses from more than 98,000 online interviews conducted from July 2010 through May 2011 among residential customers of the 124 largest electric utility brands across the United States, which collectively represent more than 93 million households.
