IAP Wins Subcontract to Provide Scientific and Technical Support Services for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla., Nov. 4, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. announced that it was awarded a task order subcontract to provide nationwide Professional and Technical (PTS) Support Services for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in partnership with Riverside Technology, Inc., of Fort Collins, CO.  The IAP and Riverside team will support NOAA in its mission to enrich life through science.  NOAA's satellite analysis, weather forecast and climate service missions, as well as fisheries management, coastal restoration and marine commerce, enhance economic vitality and touch the life of every American.

The five-year contract has a maximum contract value of $550 million and covers a wide spectrum of objectives related to climate adaptation and mitigation, a weather ready nation, healthy oceans and resilient coastal communities and ecosystems.  The Riverside team which is comprised of globally recognized science companies including:  IAP Worldwide Services; Atmospheric and Environmental Research, Computational Physics Inc., CSC, Consolidated Safety Services/Dynamic Corporation, General Dynamics Information Technology, Integrity Applications Inc., and Oak Management and Stratus Consulting team, will support NOAA's long-term commitment to the highest quality research through the development and maintenance of superior professional services aimed at complementing NOAA's in-house talent.
