ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. announced that it won the U.S. Army's contract to provide integrated logistics, fielding, and training support for the Project Manager, Distributed Common Ground System-Army (PM DCGS-A) at Fort Hood, Texas, and locations worldwide. The work will be performed under the Rapid Response Third Generation (R23G) contract vehicle.

DCGS-A is the Army's primary system to post data, process information, and disseminate Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) information about operational environments, weather, and terrain, providing commanders with vital information. The contract tasks, valued at $53 million, include hardware systems engineering, data processing, networking, hardware accreditation/certification, system reconciliations, training, and warehouse operations to successfully deliver DCGS-A to military units.
