IABC Detroit Invites Top Communications Work in Awards Program
DETROIT, Feb. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- IABC Detroit invites communications professionals to submit their best work in its 2010 Renaissance Awards program. Industry peers will recognize best practices in strategic communication, skills from writing to design, and electronic communication including new categories for Social Networking and Media.
Undergraduate communication students also can compete for a $250 cash prize while veterans vie for the distinguished honor of Communicator of the Year.
The program is open to professionals in Southeast Michigan, Northwest Ohio and Southwest Ontario. You do not need to be an IABC member to enter.
The awards focus on three communications disciplines: communications management, skills and creative. Judged by industry experts from across the country, a Renaissance Award is a credible measure of professional skills and expertise and is a well-recognized honor.
Entry information is at iabcdetroit.com. Early entry deadline is March 11, 2010, and final deadline is March 18, 2010. There is a drawing for free professional development programs for entrants with multiple submissions.
Winners will be notified in mid-May. They will be recognized at the chapter's 29th Annual Awards Program on June 24, 2010, at ArvinMeritor in Troy.
