IABC Detroit Announces 2014-2015 Board of Directors
DETROIT, July 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Detroit, a leading nonprofit organization that provides professional development and networking opportunities for all areas of organizational communication, announced its 2014-2015 board of directors at the 33rd annual Renaissance Awards ceremony held June 26. The term runs from July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. All board positions are voluntary.
"We have an ambitious agenda planned to help Metro Detroit communicators connect," said Alexandra Hichel, the chapter's president and a web developer/designer for University of Detroit Mercy's College of Liberal Arts & Education. "IABC both at the chapter and the international level provides tremendous resources for anyone who works in communications at corporate, nonprofit and independent levels. With organizations becoming more lean, IABC fills a need for affordable professional development."
