AUSTIN, Texas, June 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hypori announces the newest release of their marketing-leading Virtual Mobile Infrastructure (VMI) platform, including new features and enhancements to enable a seamless enterprise mobility experience.
In this latest release, Hypori introduces its new Client Branding Service feature. Organizations can create their own customized client experience by white-labeling the Hypori Client app. Now, customers can submit unique branding specifications, including a custom name and icon, and receive a custom client app that they can manage and distribute. This feature permits certificate pinning, leveraging unique certificates to eliminate man-in-the-middle attacks.
"This exciting new feature directly addresses the branding requirements of our large enterprise and government customers," according to Sanjay Challa, Director of Product Management, "Now with the Client Branding Services in Hypori's VMI platform, enterprises can deliver secure customized and in-house apps to their users through a client that is completely branded as their own."
The release also enhances the notification system. Now an end user will receive real-time push notifications on his or her physical mobile device whenever an app in the Hypori virtual device receives a notification. This is a major step forward for a VMI platform. End users can use the notification features they expect from commercially available enterprise productivity and collaboration apps. In addition, enhancements to camera orientation and audio and video streaming capabilities provide a better end-user experience for video teleconferencing apps such as Skype, WebEx and Jabber.
Hypori added new management and monitoring features for enhanced end-user support and auditing activities. The updated admin console enables administrators and users with auditor privileges to gain more insight into end-user activity by acquiring an on-demand snapshot of the end user's current virtual screen. This feature is a key asset in resolving support issues and in compliance auditing for heavily regulated industries.
"We are continuing to evolve our VMI platform to meet mobility needs across the enterprise," commented Brian Vetter, CTO of Hypori. "We're increasingly finding that enterprise IT departments and end users alike are struggling with today's technologies and are looking for solutions that secure enterprise data and apps, that are easy to manage and that provide a great usability experience for the end users. We're excited that our VMI platform is tailored to meet IT demands for control and transparency without infringing on end-user privacy."
"Over the next few years, enterprise deployments with only mobile device management (MDM) will decline as companies shift their enterprise mobility strategies from a device and asset management focus toward an approach that is centered on data and user management. Enter virtual mobile infrastructure (VMI). Like VDI, VMI provides a virtual environment where there is no corporate data on the end device," said Chris Hazelton, 451 Research.
Hypori will exhibit their latest product release at the Gartner Security Risk Summit, June 13th-15th in National Harbor, MD at booth 1204.
