Hypori Announces: Admiral Robert Day as member of Federal Advisory Council
AUSTIN, Texas, April 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Hypori Inc. announces the appointment of Admiral Robert Day onto its Advisory Council.
Admiral Day (ret.) is a seasoned cyber-security expert with over 34 years of Federal Technology Leadership. Day is a highly accomplished leader with extensive experience as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director of Cyber Security. Through these roles the Admiral brings a deep combined understanding of both security and operational requirements of large-scale systems serving Federal organizations.
Day was presented CIO Magazine's 'CIO 100' award two years in a row, in addition, in 2014 Federal Computer Week named Day the Federal 100 Award Winner.

Rear Admiral Robert E. Day Jr., United States Coast Guard (retired) was the Assistant Commandant for Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Information Technology, Chief Information Officer, and Commander of Coast Guard Cyber Command from July 2009 until July 2014. During his service in the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Day progressed through increasingly challenging command positions to the senior executive level, as a two-star Admiral and served as CIO and Commander CG Cyber Command. Rear Admiral Day holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy and a Master of Science Degree in Telecommunications Systems Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.
