Hyperdynamics Announces Exercise of Over-Allotment Option by Underwriter
HOUSTON, March 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyperdynamics Corporation (NYSE Amex: HDY) today announced that the underwriter of its public offering of common stock has exercised its over-allotment option, which will result in the issuance of an additional 3,750,000 common shares. The option was granted in connection with the public offering of 25,000,000 common shares at a public offering price of $5.00 per share, which is expected to close on March 30, 2011, subject to customary closing conditions.
The Company announced earlier today the pricing at $5.00 per share of its offering of 25,000,000 shares of common stock. With the exercise of the full over-allotment option by the underwriter, Rodman & Renshaw, LLC, a subsidiary of Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: RODM), the total size of the offering will be 28,750,000 shares for gross proceeds of approximately $143,750,000.
