AUSTIN, Texas, March 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyliion announces the availability of their trial fleet. The Class 8 electrification company released their hybrid electric tractor solution, the 6x4HE designed to deliver up to 30% fuel savings, in October of last year. The trial fleet is outfitted with the 6x4HE, and available for potential customers to test in their own operations for up to a week at no charge.
"We are excited to offer our customers the chance to test a Hyliion enabled vehicle in their own day to day business operations. It is a big decision to adopt a new technology and the opportunity to take the truck for a trial run makes all the difference," said Thomas Healy, Hyliion CEO and founder.
The announcement comes in advance of Hyliion's appearance at the ATA Technology & Maintenance Council's Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition (ATA TMC 2018) on March 5th-8th in Atlanta, GA. "We will have two booths each showcasing one of our trial trucks. Following the conclusion of the conference, these trucks will hit the road and be in customer hands. Our team is thrilled to offer this unique trial program," stated Healy.
Trucks are available starting March 12th and can be reserved through email at [email protected], our website, or by calling 1.833.HYLIION.
