CLEVELAND, Feb. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- At the 2018 IHE North American Connectathon in Cleveland, Hyland Healthcare successfully demonstrated the interoperability of a suite of healthcare solutions, including OnBase by Hyland , Acuo by Hyland, PACSgear capture and connectivity and the NilRead visualization platform. The group of products represented Hyland's biggest showing to date at the prestigious interoperability testing event.
The IHE North American Connectathon is the healthcare industry's largest, most rigorous interoperability testing event. Hyland and hundreds of other industry leaders gathered for the weeklong event to collaborate and test implementations of IHE profiles and other world-class standards.
The Hyland IHE actors were part of over two hundred successful tests that were performed against other vendors and graded by independent IHE monitors. The interoperability actors and profiles are part of numerous Hyland products, including the OnBase integrated source repository; the Acuo VNA repository, registry, PIX manager, and ARR (audit records repository); the NilRead viewing platform; and the PACSgear capture and connectivity suite. Hyland brought a combination of released products and releases-in-progress to the IHE Connectathon in order to test software applications that are either part of existing solutions, or will soon be part of installed products.
The profiles tested this year included new options within the Mobile access to Health Documents (MHD), Internet User Authorization (IUA) and registry profiles. Hyland Healthcare places an emphasis on Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) since the need to manage and share content of all types, including imaging, continues to grow.
"Another successful year of testing at the Connectathon is an exciting, meaningful way to demonstrate our commitment to innovation and interoperability across our large suite of healthcare solutions," said Razvan Atanasiu, Hyland's CTO of enterprise imaging. "For years, Hyland has placed interoperability at the core of our architecture, knowing that will help our customers realize their potential for secure and efficient sharing of data and images in a rapidly-evolving healthcare environment."
Hyland Healthcare will also be participating in the Interoperability Showcase at the 2018 HIMSS conference in March.
