Hydro Flask Launches Parks For All Charitable Giving Program

BEND, Ore., Jan. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hydro Flask, the award-winning leader in high-performance, insulated stainless steel flasks now in the Housewares segment of Helen of Troy Limited (NASDAQ, NM: HELE), is excited to announce the launch of Parks For All, the company's new charitable giving program.

Parks For All supports the development and maintenance of public green spaces in the U.S. and beyond so people everywhere can live healthier, happier and more fulfilled lives. Through the program, Hydro Flask will donate a series of cash grants and product donations to non-profit organizations whose missions align with working to build, restore and preserve parks.

On January 11^th, Hydro Flask will fulfill grant requests from the Oregon State Parks Foundation, Appalachian Trail Conservancy and Pacific Crest Trail Association contributing a total of $85,000 in grant funds. The money will support the Pacific Crest Trail Association's Trail Skills College program, which provides training and education for PCTA volunteers, the Appalachian Trail Conservancy's expansion of the Monson Visitor Center, and Oregon State Parks Foundation's Ticket2Ride program, which enables elementary and middle school-aged children from low to moderate income communities to use the state parks for experiential learning.
