Huxley, Iowa Family Chosen To Receive New $70,000 Outdoor Renovation In National Archadeck "Dream Backyard Makeover" Contest

HUXLEY, Iowa, May 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Huxley, Iowa homeowner, Merea Bentrott and family are the grand prize winners of a $70,000 backyard transformation from Archadeck, Belgard Hardscapes and TimberTech.

Bentrott and her husband, Rick, have a family of six, including two newly adopted foster children.  Launched in February, the Dream Backyard Makeover Contest enlisted homeowners across the country to submit a photo and 200-word description of why their backyard is the most deserving of the grand prize.  With more than 2,000 submissions, the Bentrott family's was chosen as the winner.

Harold Cross, owner of Archadeck Central Iowa, Chris Boyd of Belgard and others made the surprise announcement to Rick and Merea Bentrott on May 17 at the family's home.
