Hurricane Harvey Animal Rescue! Peace 4 Animals Has Teamed Up With a Group of Animal Rescues to Airlift 50 Dogs & Cats Saved From The Devastation in Texas to Los Angeles
The Surviving Hurricane Harvey Dogs and Cats are Among Hundreds of Homeless Animals That Were Rescued, and are Currently Living at a Make-shift Shelter
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Peace 4 Animals, founded by actress and model Katie Cleary, who is also the founder of the popular animal news network World Animal News, has teamed with numerous animal welfare organizations to secure the continued safety of 50 dogs and cats that fell victim to the devastation and destruction of Hurricane Harvey.
Cleary and a team of animal advocates, including actress Maggie Q, Simone Reyes and Angela Taylor, also helped with the rescue efforts at Austin Pets Alive following the devastating hurricane.
Thursday, November 16, 2017, 50 of the now hundreds of homeless dogs and cats will be transferred from an abandoned grocery store in Houston where they are currently housed and will board a plane to be airlifted to their new leash on life in Los Angeles, California.
The move, a collaborative effort between Peace 4 Animals, The Rescue Train's Race For The Rescues, The Lucy Foundation, Stand Up For Pits Foundation, and Austin Pets Alive, was imperative as construction is scheduled to begin in December on the abandoned grocery store, displacing the poor animals once again.
