Huntington Hospital's Robbin Cohen, MD, Warns Students About the Dangers of Smoking
PASADENA, Calif., Nov. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Approximately 100 middle school students from High Point Academy and Mayfield Junior School attended a presentation by Robbin Cohen, MD, cardiothoracic surgeon and medical director of Huntington Hospital's lung cancer program. Dr. Cohen's presentation warned students about the dangers of smoking and its strong connection to lung cancer. Students from Mayfield walked over to the hospital wearing T-shirts provided by the hospital that read, "Smoking Stinks!" All students were treated to lunch and received a Be Smart, Don't Start bookmark.
