Huntington Hospital Appoints Executive Director of Public Relations
Taps former SoCal Corporate Healthcare VP of Communications, Marketing
PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Huntington Memorial Hospital today announced that Kevin L. Andrus has joined the hospital as executive director, public relations, reporting to Jane Haderlein, senior vice president, external affairs. Andrus comes to Huntington Hospital from Seton Medical Center in Daly City, CA where he has been serving as vice president of business development, marketing and communication since 2011. Prior to Seton, Andrus served as vice president of corporate communications for Orange County-based St. Joseph Health System, since 2004.
In his new role, Andrus' office will support Huntington Hospital's efforts to ensure continued access to high quality healthcare for the people of Pasadena and throughout the San Gabriel Valley. He will also aid the efforts of Huntington Hospital's Board of Directors and executive management team in their work to find new and innovative partnerships that will ensure affordable healthcare is available to everyone within the community.

Prior to joining healthcare, Andrus enjoyed a successful career as a broadcast journalist having served as a senior executive for CBS affiliates in California, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. He holds a master's degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor's degree in Electronic Journalism from the University of Oklahoma.
