Huntington Hospital Adds Financial and Real Estate Expert to Board of Directors
PASADENA, Calif., Jan. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Huntington Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Wayne M. Brandt has joined its board of directors. Brandt is managing director and the western regional head of the Real Estate Capital Markets Group at Wells Fargo Bank.

Currently Brandt heads the securitized and permanent real estate lending business throughout the western United States for Wells Fargo. He previously was head of real estate lending and debt investments for the Buchanan/TCW Funds, a $1.2 billion private equity firm. Throughout his career, Brandt has built several lending and investment management businesses on both the East and West Coasts. He previously served as managing director of RBS Greenwich Capital and was managing partner at Menlo Equities.
Brandt is currently a member of the board of trustees at the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate. He has been a guest lecturer at the USC Lusk Center, the UCLA Anderson School of Business and the MIT Center for Real Estate and has authored several industry articles.
In addition to his board membership at Huntington Hospital, he is a committee member for the Champions of Scouting. He has been a former board of trustees member of the Chandler School, Junior Achievement and The Children's Museum of Los Angeles.
A graduate of Stanford University, Brandt earned a Master of Science degree in real estate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He lives with his wife, Lisa, and family in Pasadena.
