'Hunting Comic Character Dale Dunnerway Has Hunting Wedding Gift for Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton'
Hundreds of comic books are being donated to soldiers for the holiday season
MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 23, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Today comic character Rather-Be-Hunting Guy™ (Dale Dunnerway) announces plans to send a Rather-Be-Hunting Guy™ bobblehead with audio to Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton as a wedding gift.
"We had hoped to send them as a Christmas present, but the product will not be ready until after Christmas," said Dale. "Miranda and Blake will get the very first Rather-Be-Hunting Guy™ bobblehead off the production line in the Spring. While we know the couple will get a lot of great and expensive gifts, we doubt they'll get anything quite like this."
Dale wishes Lambert and Shelton the best. In honor of their upcoming wedding, Limit Out Productions, the parent company of Rather-Be-Hunting Guy™, is donating 200 of each of the Rather-Be-Hunting Guy™ comics to the Hunt of a Lifetime organization, a nonprofit organization with the mission of granting hunting and fishing adventures and dreams to children age 21 and under who have been diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. Limit Out Productions is also donating 500 of each comic to the Sportsman's Foundation for Military Families. The foundation will donate books to combat veterans and those overseas.
The following is advice from Dale about how to make the most of your holiday season:
- If you have game in your freezer, donate it to a food bank or shelter. There are a lot of hungry folks who need help.
- Holidays are about faith, family, and friends. Keep the main things the main things!
- During the holiday down time, turn off the TV and take a family member hunting or fishing. When you are 75, you will not think about the great TV you watched with your family, but you will think about the cool stuff you did outside together.

About Rather-Be-Hunting Guy:
Dale is an outdoorsman who works long hours at an office job. His friends say he likes to hunt and fish too much, but to him there is no such thing. He's certainly not a superhero, but he's a brother to all of us who'd rather be in the woods. Learn more about Dale's day-to-day work life in his outdoors-themed comic books, 1) On the Job with Rather-Be-Hunting Guy - An Avid Outdoorsman Stuck in an Office Cubicle, and 2) Rather-Be-Hunting Guy and Life's Demands - Going Through Adulthood Rough Around the Edges, which, along with bumper stickers, are available for purchase on www.RatherBeHuntingGuy.com. The bobbleheads with audio will be available early in 2011.
