Hunter Wise Managing Director Daniel McClory to Give Spring Commencement Address at Eastern Michigan University
IRVINE, Calif. and YPSILANTI, Mich., Feb. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Hunter Wise Financial Group, LLC is pleased to announce that Managing Director Daniel McClory will give the Eastern Michigan University commencement address on April 25, 2010, and receive an Honorary Doctorate degree. The action was approved last week by the EMU Board of Regents.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Mr. McClory is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, earning a BS in English and a MA in Language and International Trade, and was a three-time captain of the school's NCAA Division I varsity cross country team. He was also a writer for The Eastern Echo and a founding member of the University Ambassadors Society and was named an Outstanding Young Alumnus of EMU and "Eastern Man of the Year" in 2010. Mr. McClory's 2008 gift of $1,000,000 to the Eastern Michigan University Men's and Women's Track and Cross Country programs was the largest contribution in EMU Athletic Department history. He serves as a Trustee on the Board of the EMU Foundation. McClory is a Director of the USA Track & Field Foundation Board, which is chaired by Nasdaq OMX CEO Bob Greifeld.
