Hunter Joins Lockton's Memphis Operation

Business entrepreneur and risk management executive to advise on commercial insurance and corporate strategy

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Aug. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Kevin M. Hunter has joined Lockton Companies as a Risk Management Advisor and Producer based in the insurance broker's Memphis office. He is responsible for client advocacy and new business development in the commercial insurance and employee benefit sectors. Lockton is the world's largest privately held insurance broker serving notable clients in both domestic and international markets.

Kevin's background includes an extensive history in sales, marketing, and leadership in a wide variety of industries. He has more than 20 years of experience in diverse business roles and has worked extensively in insurance and risk management.

Most recently, Hunter co-founded Abston-McKay Ventures with Orr Family Properties to develop the Sportsman Casino and Lodge at Casino Strip in the Northern Mississippi River Gaming Counties marketplace. AMV later merged through private investors to become Riverton Tunica LLC where Kevin served as CEO.

He was previously a Vice President at HUB International, a national insurance broker and named to the Mississippi Business Journal "Top 40 Under 40." He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS.
