Humantech Announces Its Ergonomics Seminar Schedule For 2014
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Humantech, Inc. has announced the 2014 schedule of its popular series of ergonomics seminars with three different course offerings. The Applied Industrial Ergonomics seminar will be held in Ann Arbor, MI and Nashville, TN. This two-day seminar focuses on practical approaches to improving problem jobs, increasing productivity, and reducing injuries in an industrial environment. Attendees will learn to evaluate workstations and equipment, identify factors contributing to work-related musculoskeletal disorders, and prioritize ergonomic improvements.
The Advanced Ergonomic Design Workshop, a one-day seminar, will be held in Ann Arbor. This workshop takes you beyond identifying and assessing ergonomic risk, and leads you into "designing out" the risk to begin with. Through hands-on experiences and group activities, some of which may be held off-site, participants will learn how to evaluate existing equipment and propose methodologies for good ergonomic design. This workshop is for people who have previously participated in the Applied Industrial Ergonomics training course.
Managing an Ergonomics Process, a one-day seminar, will be located in Ann Arbor. Attendees will develop the ability to recognize, plan, and integrate the strategic elements of ergonomics into their current business processes. This workshop is not an introductory course and is intended for those who have previously attended the Applied Industrial Ergonomics seminar.
Complete course agendas and online registration are available on Humantech's website, www.humantech.com, or by calling (734) 663-3330, ext. 132. Humantech's courses have been approved for ABIH CM points and meet the requirements for BCSP COC credits.
