Broadband Leader Showcases Latest Ka-band Products and On-The-Move Solutions

GERMANTOWN, Md., June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hughes Network Systems, LLC (Hughes), the world's leading provider of broadband satellite networks and services, presented its latest product and service innovations at its annual seminar in Singapore on June 22, held during the CommunicAsia2011 conference and exhibition. Approximately 140 participants representing customers, service providers, systems integrators, and satellite operators from around the region attended.

Highlighting this year's seminar were the latest developments in Ka-band satellite technology and services, including advanced dual Ka/Ku-band HN Systems and terminals, along with HX System 'broadband-on-the-move' solutions for maritime, aeronautical, and trains.

Aris Iskandar Musa, head of Product Development/Solutions & Sales at Numix Engineering Sdn Bhd, a leading telecommunications and network services company in Malaysia, presented an overview of its satellite-related solutions which include Internet and telephony, customized private networks, and back up and maritime solutions.
