The new record reinforces the company's leadership in both broadband services and technology, with customers in over 100 countries and in all market segments. Enterprises of all sizes across virtually all vertical sectors, as well as government and multi-national organizations, rely on Hughes for their broadband networking requirements. It's successful HughesNet® consumer service in North America now exceeds over half a million subscribers, and is growing at accelerated rates as qualified customers take advantage of the $58.7 million subsidy awarded to Hughes under The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Broadband Stimulus program.
