HUGHES Executive to Address NASTD Conference on Managed Networks and Cloud Computing

GERMANTOWN, Md., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), the global leader in broadband satellite networks and services, today announced that Mike Tippets, vice president for applications and solutions at Hughes will participate as a speaker at the National Association of State Technology Directors (NASTD) 33rd Annual Conference and Technology Showcase. Mr. Tippets will serve on a panel of network services industry executives to discuss the role of network communications in enabling state information sharing initiatives through cloud computing.
