HUGHES Executive to Address GSA Network Services Conference on Commercial SATCOM Applications

GERMANTOWN, Md., June 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), the global leader in broadband satellite networks and services, today announced that Tony Bardo, assistant vice president for government solutions at Hughes will participate as a speaker at the U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA) Network Services Conference. Mr. Bardo will serve as a panelist with other satellite industry executives to discuss how federal agencies can benefit from using commercial satellite services to meet mission-critical requirements. The panel will discuss how commercial satellite services available through GSA's Networx program and the SATCOM-II contract can transform emergency response, Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning, telework, military communications, and distance learning capabilities.
