Hudson Valley Bank Names Susan K. Cullen Chief Risk Officer

YONKERS, N.Y., June 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stephen R. Brown, President & Chief Executive Officer of Hudson Valley Bank and Hudson Valley Holding Corp., has announced the appointment of Susan K. Cullen to the newly created position of Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer.

Ms. Cullen has more than 25 years of experience in auditing and risk management. She served in the financial institution practice of Grant Thornton LLP for the past 18 years, the last four as an Audit Partner, with professional expertise in business risk, enterprise risk and regulatory risk. In her new position, Ms. Cullen will be responsible for overseeing Company-wide risk management programs.

Ms. Cullen is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.

"Susan has extensive audit and risk management experience working in or advising financial institutions," according to Mr. Brown.
