Hudson Valley Bank Names First Vice President and Senior Trust Officer
YONKERS, N.Y., June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Stephen R. Brown, President & Chief Executive Officer of Hudson Valley Bank, has announced that Drew A. Bender has joined the Bank as First Vice President and Senior Trust Officer. Mr. Bender will be responsible for managing client relationships and new business for the Bank's growing Trust Department.
Mr. Bender joins Hudson Valley from BNY Mellon, where he was a Senior Fiduciary Officer and Senior Relationship Manager. He has more than 26 years of experience working in banks, trust companies, and law firms in New York City. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, he spent nine years with US Trust Company, N.A., where he was a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer serving as the business manager of the Insurance Trust & Life Insurance Consulting Groups.
Mr. Bender resides in Airmont, NY (in Rockland County). He is a graduate of Pace University in White Plains, NY, and has extensive graduate studies, including American Bankers Association National Compliance School and the New York Bankers Association Trust School; Estate School; and Investment School. Mr. Bender is a former President of the Rockland County Estate Planning Council and currently sits on it Board of Directors.
