EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Aug. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- A joint venture composed of Hudson Group; Concourse Ventures, Inc.; and two Airport Certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (ACDBE) -- Epicure Group International, LLC; and Martinez Niebla, LLC -- was selected by the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority for two retail concessions packages in San Diego International Airport's (SAN) recent Request for Proposals solicitation.

The joint venture -- HG-CV-Epicure-Martinez San Diego JV – was confirmed August 4 as the winner of Package 2 (four newsstands, a bookstore and a specialty retail store totaling 6,067 sf of selling space) and Package 7 (two newsstands and a specialty retail store totaling 2,313 sf). The award totaled 8,380 sf overall.
In Package 2, the team proposed the following concepts: Sunglass Hut, Warwick's of LaJolla Books, Gaslamp News (with Caffe Calabria and Discover San Diego), Hudson News (surfing theme), Lindbergh Field News and San Diego Bay News (with Caffe Calabria).
In Package 7, the concepts included: Lindbergh Field News, Gaslamp News and a Tech on the Go technology store.
