Hudec Dental's Relax. Smile. Serve. Academic Scholarship at Local Schools

CLEVELAND, Feb. 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- In 2016, Hudec Dental created their first educational scholarship, Relax. Smile. Serve. This scholarship was presented at 16 schools in Northeast Ohio and the Youngstown area. Hudec Dental awarded 16 students in 2016, collectively totaling $16,000. Each student received $1,000 for their educational endeavors. In 2017, this scholarship will continue and be represented at even more schools in the community.

Scholarship requirements:

• College-bound senior
• Cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
• The student must submit a 500-word essay on how they "improved the quality of life in their community." The student must detail in writing their community service efforts.

Hudec Dental was born in Cleveland over 39 years ago. Since day one, Hudec Dental has been committed to serving their community both inside and outside the walls of their 20 neighborhood offices. Extending their service into neighborhood endeavors is at the core of who Hudec Dental is. This involvement consists of community service opportunities, sponsorship of worthy neighborhood activities, participation in community events and fairs and most importantly, involvement through education.

Hudec Dental understands the importance of education and strives to make a difference in the lives of high school students and families. The goal of this scholarship is to assist college-bound students and provide them with the opportunity to further their education.
