CLEVELAND, Aug. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hudec Dental has been serving patients for 39 years with 19 locations. They pride themselves in their diversified staff to meet the needs of their patient-base. In the last two years, Hudec Dental has sponsored the citizenship of four doctors, allowing them to pursue their dreams and serve patients in the United States.
"These are good, talented people who deserve to succeed," explains Dr. John Hudec, Owner of Hudec Dental. "They are hardworking and believe in the American dream, they deserve an opportunity."
Hudec Dental has multiple doctors that speak a variety of languages. From Mandarin, to Spanish, to Russian, they ensure all their patients are comfortable and any potential language barrier with patients is nonexistent.
"We developed a diversity class that really digs into an often overlooked type of diversity-economic and generation in the workplace," said Justin Mosely, Human Resources Manager at Hudec Dental.
Hudec Dental is proud to employ a diverse group of individuals. Their workforce is comprised of:
- 82 percent females (71 percent in leadership positions), 18 percent male
- 40 percent of employees with diverse ethnicities (African American, Hispanic, Asian, etc.)
They also continue to diversify themselves as they expand and grow each day, hiring on average five new team members a month.
"Surrounding yourself with the familiar tends to close doors and can potentially lead to a lack of growth in an organization," expressed Mosley. "Surrounding yourself with others that are more diverse leads to more success and progress in an organization. It allows the employees to grow and prosper off of their colleagues' knowledge and expertise."
Since 1977, Hudec Dental has focused on providing quality care to patients as well as providing a positive and diverse work environment. They continue to expand and hire more doctors in order to serve all markets and demographics. In 2016 alone, they welcomed six new doctors to their team of 32 dentists.
"Everyone from the front office staff to Dr. Hudec prioritizes the patients' needs and treats everyone with respect," said Bethany Doroghazi, D.D.S., Doctor out of the Mentor Hudec Dental office. "I chose dentistry as my profession because I wanted to not only care for, but also form relationships with my patients. Hudec Dental allows me to provide this care to my patients and their families."
