CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Sept. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- HubSpot, a leading growth platform, announced today that it has chosen Paris, France as the location of its next global office, signifying the company's continued investment in the French market. The company has also committed to creating approximately 30 new jobs over the next two years to help meet the demand for HubSpot's software solutions in France.
HubSpot's Paris office is slated to open in Q1 of 2019 and will become the company's ninth global location and its third in Europe, in addition to Dublin and Berlin. The new office will initially be staffed with a sales team focused on developing relationships with growing businesses and agencies across France.
HubSpot launched a dedicated French website and blog, as well as French social media channels in July 2015. Since then, the company has seen demand for its CRM and marketing, sales, and service solutions grow across France and, last year, decided to invest in building a strong and scalable base of talent in the region.
"We started with HubSpot three years ago with the goal of increasing our website traffic and generating inbound leads. Three years later, I am impressed by the journey we have made together – it's no longer just a tool used by our marketing team, it's a platform that allows our entire company to provide better experiences for our prospects, customers and partners," said Fabien Dutrieux, Head of Demand Generation at Critizr. "HubSpot has become a real partner for Critizr as we grow, thanks to its exceptional team. The opening of the Paris office is great news for the entire French digital ecosystem."
"Paris is one of the top tech cities in all of Europe and is a great location for attracting, recruiting, and retaining some of the continent's best tech talent. We already have a large number of fantastic French employees who have made significant contributions to our business, and we are looking forward to expanding our French team in the nation's capital city," said JD Sherman, president and COO of HubSpot. "Having a presence on the ground in Paris will allow us to better serve our existing French customers and help to support more businesses as they grow. We're looking forward to seeing what the team is able to achieve there."
