HUB International Insurance Services Appoints Sara Owens as Senior Vice President, Engagement

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Hub International Limited (Hub), a leading global insurance brokerage, announced today that it has appointed Sara Owens to a new position: senior vice president, engagement. In this role Owens will be responsible for engaging key constituents of the HUB International Los Angeles operation including but not limited to: community leaders, business owners, professional associations, strategic partners, clients and employees. In addition, she will play a key role in identifying and nurturing insurance brokerage acquisition opportunities. She will report to Andrew Forchelli, regional president of HUB International Los Angeles. Previously, Sara was a vice president at HUB International.

She was instrumental in architecting and launching a professional development program, HUB Women, which has inspired hundreds of employees across the state of California to become the "CEO of their careers." Sara also launched HUB's employee engagement efforts, focusing on on-boarding, training, wellness, and team building. Outside of the office, she is committed to giving back to the community as a volunteer, mentor, and coach.
