Hub International Acquires The Assets Of Texas-Based US Insurance Source LLC

CHICAGO, Feb. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Hub International Limited (Hub), a leading global insurance brokerage, announced today that it has acquired the assets of US Insurance Source LLC and certain of its affiliates (USIS). Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Spring, Texas, USIS is an independent insurance agency specializing in commercial insurance, including trucking insurance. USIS provides a comprehensive offering of coverages to help protect owner-operators, fleet managers and related freight and trucking companies. Its focus on the transportation industry supports Hub's Specialty practices by complementing and strengthening Hub's existing solutions.

Mark Walton, Owner of USIS, will join Hub Transportation and report to Jerry Gillikin, Executive Vice President of Hub Transportation.
