Hub International Acquires The Assets Of Rhode Island-Based RIMS Insurance Brokerage Corporation

CHICAGO, May 8, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Hub International Limited (Hub), a leading global insurance brokerage, announced today that it has acquired the assets of RIMS Insurance Brokerage Corporation. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Located in Providence, Rhode Island, RIMS Insurance Brokerage Corporation has offered medical professional liability insurance as well as life, health, disability, worker's compensation, business owner's insurance and other coverages since 1988. Its focus on the healthcare industry supports Hub's Specialty practices by complementing and strengthening Hub's existing capabilities.

Robert Anderson, President of RIMS Insurance Brokerage Corporation, will join Hub New England and will report to Daniel Nissi, President, Healthcare Specialty Practice, Hub New England.
