Huawei Partners with Country Wireless to Provide Carrier-Class Fixed Wireless Network
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei announced today at WISPAPALOOZA 2016 its recent partnership with Country Wireless to build a carrier-class fixed wireless network in central Wisconsin, United States.
Country Wireless has used migrated technology to serve rural markets for over a decade and chose Huawei for its industry-leading technology and innovation. Huawei's 4T4R TDD LTE RAN solution allows Country Wireless to offer maximum speed of up to 100 Mbps per user with current 2Rx CPE. The maximum speed could be double by using Huawei 4T4R CPE which becomes available in Q4 2016. Country Wireless plans to cover an estimated 5,000 homes with TDD LTE Fixed Wireless technology. In addition, the solution allows growth without replacing the existing infrastructure. This enables Country Wireless to deliver best-in-class LTE-Advanced performance to its subscribers today.
Huawei's solution allows Country Wireless to use the current 3.65 to 3.7GHz spectrum, and can handle the new 3.55 to 3.65GHz FCC spectrum when it is available.

Only six months after Country Wireless originally connected with Huawei, their Tier 1 partner service went online in June of this year. Country Wireless is expanding its solution and looks forward to having a complete fixed wireless LTE- Advanced network for its subscribers in the upcoming months.
