Huawei M2M Module Certified On Aeris

PLANO, Texas, Sept. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced that its MC323 embedded module has been certified on the Aeris Communications' cellular network.  The MC323's ultra-compact size is ideal for M2M applications such as metering, mobile payment, industrial router, and AMI devices.

The MC323 is part of Huawei's standardized B2B family, which allows interchangeable solutions between CDMA 1x and GSM/GPRS.  The MC323 comes with the following features and specifications that make it an ideal platform for M2M applications to operate over the Aeris network:

• Huawei Standardized 35 x 32.5 x 3.05 mm Board to Board (B2B) form factor with an operating temperature range of -20 degrees C to 70 degrees C
• Supports 153.5 kbps downlink data rate, providing data and Analog Audio under CDMA-band 800/1900 MHz
• USB 2.0 Support, TCP/ IP stack, SMS Support, and Huawei standardized AT commands
