HTG's Advisory Council meeting attendees plotted HTG's strategic vision for 2011 and beyond, while its Vendor Peer Group, made up of nine vendor members, and its CEO Forum each met to engage with their respective peers. The CEO Forum attracted 22 CEOs from top IT solution providers, as well as ConnectWise CEO Arnie Bellini who addressed the group. All 22 active HTG Peer Groups met in varying locations across the U.S., Canada, UK and Australia. 14 new companies were approved for membership during the first quarter.
"We have achieved our target of 250 active members involved in quarterly peer group meetings in Q1, and met our objective of one vision, four plans and 250 engaged and active members interested in serving each other and our end customers," said Arlin Sorensen, HTG founder and CEO. "We're proud of the 'high touch' HTG has with our members and the value they derive from being a member, participating in the community, training, sharing best practices, and other benefits."
"Once again HTG has delivered solid value to TBC Net," said Cohen Barnes, President/CEO of TBC Net Inc. "Having attended the last three HTG CEO Forums, I was thrilled with what we accomplished and this was the best CEO Forum yet. With the momentum this group is building, I anticipate great things in the meetings to come and plan on attending them all."
