The Howers have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to energy affordability in Colorado by providing $25,000 challenge grants in 2009 and 2010, and a $35,000 matching grant in 2011. In total, the Hower Family Fund has brought in an additional $200,000 to support Energy Outreach Colorado's programs. Their latest challenge grant, the largest ever, goes through April 2012.

"Many families with children, seniors and people living with special health needs thank the Howers for helping them stay safe and warm in their homes."
