Caruso, Caruso & Branda has provided legal services, primarily in Brooklyn, Staten Island and Manhattan, since 1952, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality legal representation and personal attention to area residents and businesses. Mark J. Caruso joined the firm in 1978 and throughout his career has been consistently successful in the courtroom. He has amassed a stellar reputation for using the insight developed in trying cases to closely evaluate potential cases that come before him for their possible success in the courtroom. Caruso's reputation for success and achievements has been reported in the New York Law Journal in matters involving Real Estate Litigation and extend beyond to Transactional Real Estate Law, Surrogate's Court Litigation, Wills, Estates & Administration, 1031 Exchanges, and Business Transactions. Caruso is the chair of the Brooklyn Bar Association Real Property Section and has lectured to various Bar groups on real estate law.
Rose Ann C. Branda concentrates her practice exclusively in the field of Family and Matrimonial law. A Brooklyn-born attorney, Branda graduated from Fontbonne Hall Academy in Bay Ridge, Wagner College, and eventually, Brooklyn Law School. Branda is very active in the Brooklyn legal community. She served as President of the Brooklyn Bar Association and the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association. Branda currently serves as President of the Columbian Lawyers Association of Brooklyn. She is also a member of the State Bar Association and the Brooklyn Women's Bar Association and chairs the Family Law Section of the Brooklyn Bar Association. In 2014, Branda was appointed by then Chief Administrative Judge A. Gail Prudenti as a member of the new Matrimonial Practice Advisory and Rules Committee. Since 2012, she has also served on the Chair of the Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commission for the Second and Thirteenth Judicial Districts. She chaired the New York State Bar Association Committee on Attorney Professionalism from 2008 to 2010. From 2007 to the present she served as a member of the Committee on Character and Fitness for the Second, Tenth, Eleventh and Thirteenth Judicial Districts and from 1997 to 2005 as a member of the Grievance Committee for the Second and Eleventh Judicial Districts.
