Howard Fensterman Names Elizabeth Kase Chair of the Criminal Law Division of Abrams Fensterman
LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., March 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Elizabeth Kase, a partner at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Wolf, LLP, has been named Chair of the firm's Criminal Law Division, announced Managing Partner Howard Fensterman.
Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman in 2014, Ms. Kase was a partner at Kase & Druker and had served as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County where she prosecuted hundreds of cases pertaining to narcotics, street crime, domestic violence, white collar crime and sex crimes.
On Long Island, Ms. Kase has gained a reputation as a leading criminal defense attorney for her success in handling large-scale federal and state criminal matters including public corruption cases, mortgage fraud, embezzlement schemes, sex crimes, and narcotics crimes, clients with mental health conditions, as well as complex DWI matters. Ms. Kase also serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Medical Marijuana Law Group and counsels clients about the legalities and illegalities of the uses, abuses and distribution of medical marijuana under New York state and federal law.

In 2016, Ms. Kase was designated a New York Super Lawyer, a distinction earned by only 5 percent of the lawyers in the New York metro area. She is a graduate of Smith College and Cardozo Law School.
