Howard Draft Inducted Into the Direct Marketing Association Hall of Fame
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Draftfcb Executive Chairman Howard Draft was inducted into the 2010 Direct Marketing Association (DMA) Hall of Fame today alongside Rance Crain, president of Crain Communications Inc. and editor-in-chief of Advertising Age, Crain's Chicago Business, Crain's New York Business and TelevisionWeek.
The pair was recognized during an Awards Luncheon as part of the DMA2010 Conference & Exhibit in San Francisco.
"I am sincerely honored and humbled to be inducted into the DMA's Hall of Fame today alongside Rance Crain, a man whom I have long admired for covering our industry so well," said Draft. "Over the years, I've learned from industry greats like Jim Kobs, Bob Stone, and Aaron Adler, and have been fortunate to work with really smart, strategic people like Dan Ginsberg, Lynn Fantom and Laurence Boschetto. Without their influence, and the talent and creativity of everyone who has built Draftfcb into the agency it is today, I wouldn't be accepting this tremendous honor."
Earlier this year, Draft was recognized with the Mac Dane Award for Humanitarian Excellence by the UJA-Federation of New York, an annual award given to a member of the advertising community who has enhanced the lives of others.
In November, he will be honored by the Chicago Advertising Federation with the organization's Silver Medal Lifetime Achievement Award, which is awarded to a distinguished member of the Chicago advertising community for his/her contributions to the local ad scene as well as for his/her personal accomplishments.
