"How Do You Tahoe?"
Tahoe Trips and Trails announces new speaker series, guided treks and self-led backpacking adventures
TRUCKEE / LAKE TAHOE, Calif., March 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- "How do you Tahoe?" asks Patty Baird, owner of Tahoe Trips and Trails, the outdoor adventure company based out of The Cedar House Sport Hotel. The question — part challenge, part tongue in cheek and all inspiring — is asked with a smile.
"It's not just a state of mind, and it is more than a lifestyle," explains Baird. "We use 'Tahoe' as a verb. It's Tahoe our way – with authentic connections, magnificent vistas and opportunities for personal growth. We 'Tahoe' locally, in Yosemite and as far away as Utah."
'How do you Tahoe?' is a prompt to experience the beauty and incredible personal growth opportunities available in the natural world. The campaign includes on-site inspirational speakers plus guided trips and self-led treks on the Pacific Crest Trail and Tahoe Rim Trail. Follow the "#HowDoYouTahoe" campaign at Facebook.com/TahoeTrips.
"We live in a fast pace world where technology has changed the way we communicate and interact," shares Baird. "We crave more true connections on a regular basis. Tahoe Trips and Trails helps adventurers connect. All of us know, on a gut level, the magnitude of being in the right place at the right time with the right people."
Adventures
Tahoe Trips offers evenings under the stars and ultra light backpacking with professional guides who ensure that all trip logistics are well organized. Backpacking 101 and Beyond will be offered from July 18 to 21, July 25 to 28, Aug. 8 to 11, and Aug. 29 to Sept. 1, 2014. Tahoe Trips and Trails' self-led adventures offer avid hikers and backpackers the latest ultra-light gear, maps, meals and transportation to and from the Pacific Crest Trail or the Tahoe Rim Trail. In addition, Tahoe Trips and Trails offers guided hiking excursions in Tahoe, Yosemite and Utah. Visit tahoetrips.com or call (800) 581-4453 for details.
