DALLAS, Oct. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Airlines® (NYSE: LUV) today published an initial flight schedule for new, daily nonstop service between Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport and Juan Santa Maria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica, facilitating connecting service between 17 additional cities in the U.S. and the carrier's first destination in Central America, subject the approval of the government of Costa Rica.
Flights for travel March 7, 2015, through April 6, 2015, are now available at southwest.com.

On July 1, 2014, Southwest launched international service to three Caribbean destinations and by the end of this year, the carrier will fly between the U.S. and eight international destinations in five countries.
