Erin Eggleston Salisbury, Otto Jackie-Don "J-D" Schacht earn repeat recognition on exclusive list
HOUSTON, April 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Eggleston & Briscoe, LLP, attorneys Erin Eggleston Salisbury of Houston and Otto Jackie-Don "J-D" Schacht of Lubbock have earned selection to the 2013 Texas Rising Stars list, which honors the best Texas lawyers under age 40 and those who have been in practice for no more than 10 years.

Ms. Salisbury has been listed in Texas Rising Stars since 2008. Her extensive legal experience includes a prior appearance before the U.S. Supreme Court in Kennedy v. Plan Administration for DuPont Savings Investment Plan, et al. She is a civil and probate litigation attorney who provides expertise in insurance coverage, guardianship disputes, will contests and fiduciary litigation. A graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Ms. Salisbury has represented individuals in the appointment and service as guardians and estate administrators, and has personally served as a court-appointed guardian and estate administrator.
Mr. Schacht is a trial lawyer and managing partner in Eggleston & Briscoe's West Texas office. He was first recognized in the Texas Rising Stars list in 2012. Mr. Schacht concentrates on first- and third-party insurance litigation, civil business litigation and complex subrogation claims. He represents clients in a wide variety of litigation involving property, bad faith, wrongful death, dram shop, premises liability, subrogation and significant personal injuries. A former member of the South Texas College of Law's renowned advocacy program, he served as an adjunct professor of advocacy in addition to coaching the school's champion advocacy teams.
