Houston Chronicle Seeks Nominations For Top Workplaces In Houston
HOUSTON, June 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Houston Chronicle is accepting submissions for its annual publication of the best places to work in the Houston area. In its fourth consecutive year, the Houston Chronicle Top Workplaces recognizes outstanding Houston businesses based on employee surveys.
Companies are rated by their employees in areas such as company leadership, opportunities for advancement, the value of their compensation and benefits, and work/life balance. In 2012, more than 72,500 Houston-area employees participated in the survey.
The Top Workplaces rankings are divided into categories based on company size: the Top Large (with 500 or more employees in the region), Top Midsize (150 to 499 employees), and Top Small (50 to 149 employees). Companies must have at least 50 employees in Greater Houston to qualify.
The section will also contain in-depth features on several Top Workplaces, revealing the practices and policies that place them among the top places to work in the Houston area.
Nominations for Top Workplace will be accepted through June 28, 2013. The 2013 Top Workplaces special section will publish in the Houston Chronicle in November.
